Children of Incarcerated Parents

More than 2.7 million children in the U.S. have an incarcerated (imprisoned) parent, according to the Bureau of Justice statistics in 2014. Unfortunately, many of these children witness their parents being arrested with handcuffs and sometimes subdued with force. Some children rarely if ever see their incarcerated parent that’s been torn out of their lives.  The Elijah’s Heart team provides provision and help to connect the hearts of the children to their incarcerated parents (many are mothers.)

One of the nations largest Christian magazines (The Christian Post) interviewed Papa Joe to discuss the great potential for transforming incarcerated parents and their children using Unconditional and The Walk of Love program that includes kind friends like you, who join and partner with us. See article on the The Christian Post.
